What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveyor position at Lyons & Hohl?
We're looking for an experienced construction layout surveyor for our site crews in Honey Brook, PA, working roads, utilities, and building pads across projects within about an hour of our shop.
This isn't an entry-level seat. You should be comfortable staking sanitary sewer and storm drainage, setting curb and road grade off centerline stationing, and laying out building pads and lot corners for residential subdivisions. You'll run a total station and GPS equipment daily, read civil plans well enough to catch a conflict before it becomes a change order, and make field calls when the drawing and the ground don't agree.
