WE ARE CURRENTLY PRIORITIZING HIRING FOR WEEKDAY OPENING AND MIDDLE SHIFTS (5AM-10AM, 10AM-4PM); schedule will be 2-4 shifts per week. While less of an urgent need, we are still hiring for all other shifts throughout the week/weekends.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As part of the Member Services team, our Member Service Associates play an integral role in providing customer service to our members and guests, and in so doing, contribute to the overall success of the club and the company. The Member Services team lifts up our members and guests by providing a smiling, friendly face when they walk in the door, a helpful hand when they need assistance and have questions, and a warm voice to those who call on the phone. In addition, the team handles a myriad of administrative tasks that enable the club to operate efficiently and hit its financial performance goals.
The job of our Member Services Associate is to ensure that our members and all guests receive exceptional service from a happy, friendly staff in a clean and well-maintained facility. Under supervision of the Member Services Manager and the entire management team, you will be responsible for implementing day-to-day operational processes, resolving membership account questions/issues, assisting guests with scheduling and booking requests, serving as a source of information related to the club and its services, and upholding company standards. You will help maintain a clean, fun and friendly environment and will also help to create ideas for generating revenue by immersing yourself within the community, all the while providing great customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide legendary customer service to our community through timely and professional administrative communications and enhance our members’ sense of belonging by creating an exceptional in-club experience;
- Oversee entire facility and floor management while on shift and when utilizing the club as a customer, helping to maintain functioning fitness and general facility equipment, and ensure safety, cleanliness and good working order;
- Work in partnership with the other members of the Lynx team and contribute to the efficient running of the day-to-day operations of the department and club (organizational/administrative work for management team)
WORK SCHEDULE
Work hours will correspond to the needs of the club and will be determined on an ongoing basis. Our current operating hours are as follows, with front desk shifts listed below:
Monday- Friday 5:30am-9:30pm
- Shift 1 5:00am-10:00am (as needed)
- Shift 2 10:00am-4:00pm
- Shift 3 4:00pm-10:00pm
Saturday-Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm
- Shift 1 6:30am-1:00pm (as needed)
- Shift 2 1:00pm-7:30pm (as needed)
*Note that this is subject to change and may shift slightly depending on the operational hours and needs of the club, the staff, and the members.
*Availability for summer/winter break availability, weekends and holidays is required
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, & EDUCATION
- CPR/AED Certification
- GED or high school level diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree a plus
- Experience in fitness industry a plus
- Addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage conflict when necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond timely inquiries, and present written/ oral findings
- Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues in professional manner,
- Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful in fast-pace environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and GSuite, fitness-related software programs, and POS systems
- Passion for fitness/wellness and interest in understanding the facility operations
