- Safely operate a wheelchair-accessible van during scheduled daytime routes
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, and other healthcare locations
- Assist patients in and out of the vehicle using proper lifting, securement, and safety procedures
- Ensure all wheelchairs and mobility devices are properly secured before transport
- Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to patients and families
- Maintain punctuality and efficient time management throughout assigned routes
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized vehicle interior
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and healthcare providers regarding arrival times, delays, or special transport needs
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, HIPAA guidelines, company policies, and traffic laws
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely assist patients in and out of the vehicle using proper body mechanics
