About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Ultra-Pure Water Technician to support a new, high-tech manufacturing operation in Peoria, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with strong UPW, industrial water treatment, or high-purity water experience who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, system optimization, and supporting critical facility operations.
What You’ll Do
- Operate, monitor, and maintain UPW systems including RO, UF, EDI, UV, filtration, softeners, degasifiers, and polishing loops.
- Monitor water-quality parameters including resistivity, TOC, dissolved oxygen, silica, pH, and particle levels.
- Perform system rounds, data logging, trend monitoring, and alarm response.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, abnormal readings, pressure/flow issues, and system trips.
- Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, filters, membranes, dosing systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Support membrane cleaning, resin changeouts, filter replacement, and chemical cleaning.
- Maintain accurate CMMS records, operating logs, quality data, and maintenance documentation.
- Assist with commissioning, equipment qualification, sanitization, startup, and system expansions.
- Work with engineers and vendors to improve reliability, efficiency, and water quality.
- High school diploma required; technical or trade-school education preferred.
- 3 years of UPW, industrial water treatment, or related experience.
- Hands-on experience with RO, UF, EDI, filtration, and water chemistry.
- Ability to read P&IDs and system flow diagrams.
- Experience with water-quality instrumentation and testing equipment.
- Semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other high-purity water experience preferred.
- SCADA/BMS experience is a plus.
