Our client, a manufacturing company in Carlstadt, NJ is looking for an Assembler. In this role, you will be responsible assembling parts, conducting quality control checks among other duties.
Responsibilities:
- Use of hand tools or machines to assemble parts
- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies
- Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints and assembly instructions
- Aligns components and parts
- Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts list and gathering parts, tools and materials
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimension to meet specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous factory experience
- Need to know basic math skills
- Needs to know how the measure with a ruler of 16
- Needs to have steel toe boots
- Mechanical and technical skills
- Previous factory experience
Pay Rate and Shift:
- Monday to Friday
- 1st shift $17.50
- 2nd shift $18.00
