Intermediate Grade Teachers

Lyndon Town School, serving children in PreK- grade 8, is seeking two educators to join our 4th grade team for the 2026/2027 school year. We hire dynamic, inquisitive candidates committed to collaborative teaming including a possibility of looping from 3rd to 4th grade with students. Experience with structured literacy, UFLI, workshop model, POA/PNOA, positive behavior interventions, and Responsive Classroom are a priority. Interest in project based and outdoor learning is preferred. We seek creative, passionate teachers who love children, and with their team will provide a strong foundation to our intermediate students. A sense of humor and genuine love for working with young people is a necessity. The individual will be part of a team including other grade level teachers, special educators and interventionists. The district provides mentorship and a supportive administration. The pay range for this position is $46,267-$89,467. Lyndon Town School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have “choice” and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their choosing. We are located about 3 hours from Montreal, Boston and Portland, ME.
