Aerospace Hand Finisher / Deburr Operator (Local Candidates Only)
A well-established aerospace manufacturing company in Phoenix is looking for an experienced Deburr Operator. You need to be detailed oriented, highly organized, creative, flexible and a great team player.
Essential Duties:
This position will hand-finish and deburr a wide variety of metal parts for the Aerospace industry.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to polish, clean, break edges and remove burrs on precision machined parts made from a variety of materials to specified customer specification or blueprint and tolerances by specifications by using established procedures, machines, and tooling.
- Ability to use a wide variety of basic deburr and hand finish tools, both electric and pneumatic such as (right angle grinder, die grinder, orbital sanders, and Foredom hand-finish tools and equipment).
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and instructions and visually and dimensionally inspects parts for burrs and sharp edges.
- Perform rework assignments as required
- Ensure all parts paperwork and documentation is completed properly.
- May perform other duties as requested
- Employment Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hand finishing experience (aerospace preferred)
- Reliable transportation
- Great attendance record
- Safety glasses required in designated areas
- Must exercise care and safe work practices to avoid cuts and nicks
