What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Agent position at Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding, Inc.?
Lyman-Morse is seeking a full-time purchasing agent to join the team at our recently updated facility in Camden. Purchasing or logistics experience preferred, however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
The purchasing agent supports Lyman-Morse's managers and technicians by sourcing and ordering parts and materials required for boat repairs and refits. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. This person is responsible for:
- Maintaining inventory in the stockroom
- Ordering and tracking parts and materials from vendors
- Managing public ship store
- Point-of-sale transactions
- Shipping and receiving product deliveries
