Marine Electronics Technician

Lyman Morse Boatbuilding is seeking an experienced marine electronics technician to join our service team in Thomaston, Maine.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing VHF radios, radars, satellite communications, vessel networks and computers, along with navigation and safety systems.
• Utilizing test equipment as required (multimeter, watt meter, etc.)
• Installing gauges and system electronics, running wire and cables
• Using and operating hand and power tools.
• Reading schematics and wiring diagrams
• Managing time and materials for projects

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years marine electronics experience
• Knowledge of electronics theory and application
• Prefer ABYC and NMEA Certified.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent certifications, classroom training, and experience.
