What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Driver position at Lyle Machinery Co?
Description
· Drive a company vehicle with trailer to pick up and deliver equipment and parts
· Operate a forklift to load and unload materials
· Ensure that materials are properly tied down/restrained during transport
· Assist the parts warehouse when deliveries are not required.
· Transfer materials from branch to branch as needed
· Abide by all state and federal safety regulations concerning DOT, FMSCA and OSHA
· Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
Requirements
· Clean driving record
· Strong work ethic and desire to do multiple different tasks daily
· Basic computer skills to include ELD systems
· Must be physically able to climb, crawl, step, pull, and crouch as needed to load material
· Able to maneuver in undeveloped areas as needed
