GENERAL MANAGER
Fairfield County Gem seeks an experienced, high-energy General Manager to oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations at our restaurant. This position is available for an immediate start.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: $95,000 per year (depending on experience)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of high-volume Restaurant General Manager experience
- Technology: Hands-on experience with OpenTable, Square POS, and 7shifts required
- Financials: Strong expertise in P&L management, labor cost optimization, and budgeting
- Compliance: Full understanding of food safety, sanitation, and liquor liability laws
- Location: Reliable transportation to CT area
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure an exceptional guest dining experience, be available to jump in when necessary.
- Manage financial performance, maximize profitability, and control labor and prime costs
- Utilize 7shifts to build optimized schedules and manage labor targets
- Leverage OpenTable to maximize floor seating charts and guest reservation flow
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Maintain vendor relationships and supervise inventory ordering for beer, wine, and liquor
