About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting supplier audits to quality standards and in support of supplier selection and improvement.
- Driving effective root cause analyses and corrective action for Lycoming and its customers. Spearheads process improvement activities at supplier facilities.
- Facilitating preventative actions and process control supplier projects that improve quality.
- Analyzing and making decisions utilizing metrics meaningful to supplier quality improvement.
- Providing a clear vision of supplier development strategy and processes for internal and supplier teams.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Six Sigma knowledge/certification preferred.
- Previous internship experience in manufacturing or quality engineering environment preferred
- You will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship (i.e. H-1B visa, etc.) to legally work in the U.S.
