Duties
- Assist project managers in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion of delivery of structural steel fabrication projects
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take detailed notes, and distribute follow-up action items to keep projects on track
- Manage project documentation including reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence using productivity software such as Microsoft Office and project management software
- Support client communication by answering inquiries via phone or email with professionalism and clarity
- Maintain organized filing systems for project files, contracts, and related documents to facilitate quick access and data entry accuracy
- Track RFI's submittals, approvals changes and other project requirements.
- Provide administrative support with customer, general contractors, detailers, vendors and our project team.
- Assist with purchasing, change orders, shipping, invoicing , project close out
- Learn to manager smaller projects independently as experience and and knowledge develops.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with office management, administrative support, or clerical roles with a focus on project assistance or coordination
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) spreadsheets, and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for client interaction via phone communication and written correspondence
- Familiarity with productivity software such as QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping or invoicing is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
