Water Resources Engineer - Project Manager - Charlotte, NC
We're recruiting for a Water Resources Engineer to work in a Project Manager capacity around Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a role ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and leadership skills who wants to make an impact on municipal and utility projects.
The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in civil or water resources engineering, with a PE license and proven ability to manage projects and client relationships.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Design and rehabilitation of water and sanitary sewer lines
- Utility asset evaluation and planning
- Environmental studies and permitting
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and related design tools
Project Experience Should Include:
- Evaluating existing utility assets and developing recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement
- Designing water and sanitary sewer line projects
- Monitoring construction performance and adherence to plans/specifications
- Preparing technical deliverables, submittal reviews, and change orders
- Coordinating environmental studies, permitting, and alternative analyses
- Building client relationships and identifying future project opportunities
- Making formal presentations to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
