Key Responsibilities:
- Expand Market Presence: Cultivate new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with high-value clients across the Bay Area and other emerging regions.
- Lead Strategic Pursuits: Assemble and guide multidisciplinary teams-including project managers, technical experts, and junior staff-to develop winning strategies, proposals, and presentations.
- Shape Regional Strategy: Play a pivotal role in our West Transportation Group's growth initiatives, contributing to regional planning and execution.
- Deliver Technical Excellence: Step in as a technical or project lead on major, high-impact projects when needed.
- Engage Professionally: Represent the firm in key industry organizations and events, staying connected with clients and market trends.
- Inspire Leadership: Be a visible and influential leader both within the company and in the broader professional community.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- At least 12 years of relevant industry experience.
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally based on project needs and team collaboration.
- Candidates with substantial hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Proven success in civil transportation engineering and business development, especially with Caltrans and other Bay Area transportation agencies.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Strong network within public transportation sectors and a track record of winning strategic pursuits.
- Deep understanding of organizational design, financial principles, supply chain operations, and corporate governance.
- Exceptional communication skills-written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Ability to interpret and synthesize complex technical and business information with clarity and confidence.
Salary : $175,000 - $250,000
