A professional services organization is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of overhead and underground transmission line projects. Project Management
- Manage transmission line projects from initiation through completion, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
- Coordinate internal engineering, design, and environmental teams to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Monitor project performance and proactively address technical, schedule, or cost risks.
- Manage scope changes, change orders, and project documentation.
- Lead project meetings, client updates, and coordination with external stakeholders.
- Oversee invoicing, cost tracking, and accounts receivable for assigned projects.
Technical & Design Coordination
- Apply transmission line engineering knowledge to guide design development and constructability.
- Review engineering deliverables to ensure quality, compliance with standards, and alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate with permitting, right-of-way, environmental, and construction teams as needed.
- Support resolution of design and field-related issues during project execution.
Client Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Support contract administration and, where applicable, contract negotiations.
- Maintain strong working relationships to support repeat work and long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership
- Provide direction and mentorship to engineers, designers, and project staff.
- Facilitate collaboration across disciplines to improve efficiency, quality, and risk management.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related engineering discipline).

- 5 years of project management experience supporting or leading utility or power delivery projects.
- Strong understanding of transmission engineering standards, workflows, and deliverables.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen related to project cost tracking and performance metrics.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or PMP certification (or ability to obtain).
- Experience with large-scale or multi-jurisdictional transmission projects.
- Familiarity with permitting, right-of-way coordination, and construction support.
- Experience supporting proposals or business development efforts.
