Thermal Engineer

My client is seeking a Thermal Engineer to support the design and delivery of mission‑critical data center infrastructure. This role will focus on thermal and mechanical system design, cooling optimization, and onsite support across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical and thermal design for HVAC, cooling, ventilation, fire suppression, and equipment layouts
• Perform thermal calculations and basic CFD analysis
• Develop SD/DD/CD documentation and review mechanical submittals
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes
• Support commissioning, site reviews, and system validation
• Partner with customers and internal teams to deliver optimized, cost‑effective solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (thermal focus preferred)
• 4 years of mechanical/thermal engineering experience
• Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills
• Knowledge of data center or modular building systems
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills
