The Role
This position is responsible for the structural design and execution support of industrial facilities and equipment-intensive environments. The engineer will design structures subjected to operational, environmental, and equipment-related loads, and support projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for industrial facilities
- Develop calculations, design criteria, reports, specifications, and drawings
- Design foundations, building structures, and equipment support systems
- Coordinate and oversee structural drawing production
- Review construction activities to verify structural integrity and code compliance
- Provide technical guidance related to safe design and constructability
- Interface with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders
- Support permitting and regulatory approval processes
- Manage discrete structural scopes and small project packages
- Review geotechnical data and apply findings to foundation design
- Use analysis and modeling tools to support structural simulations
Preferred Background
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5 or more years of experience in structural engineering
- Professional Engineer licensure preferred
- Experience supporting industrial facilities and process environments
- Familiarity with steel, concrete, and masonry design
- Experience with equipment supports and vibration-sensitive structures
- Exposure to rotating equipment and vibration analysis is a plus
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design tools such as STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and applicable codes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
