We're working with a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Director of Structural Engineering to lead its Buffalo Office.

The Role
You'll play a key leadership role in driving the growth and performance of the Structural/Civil division, overseeing both project delivery and business operations.
This is a strategic and hands-on position where you'll lead teams, manage client relationships, and take responsibility for financial performance, resource planning, and business development, while ensuring high standards across all project work.
What They're Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Professional Engineer (PE) - New York State required
- 15 years' experience in structural or civil/site design
- Proven experience leading teams and managing P&L performance
- Strong background across public-sector, healthcare, or education projects
- Experience working with agencies such as DASNY, OGS, or SUCF preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
