Senior Staff Geologist

A high-growth, employee-owned environmental consulting firm is looking to add a Project Geologist to their team in the San Francisco East Bay area.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants to lead meaningful projects, and play a key part in mentoring teams and growing client relationships.

You'll be stepping into a group that's scaling quickly, with a strong pipeline of complex site assessment and remediation work across California.

• Leading Phase I ESA efforts and supporting a wide range of Phase II investigations
• Managing subsurface investigations including soil, soil gas, groundwater, and vapor intrusion
• Driving remediation strategies through site closure
• Overseeing project execution from scoping through completion
• Mentoring junior staff and helping level up the team
• Supporting business development and client relationship growth
  
  

• 3 years of environmental consulting experience with increasing responsibility
• Strong background in Phase I/II ESAs and remediation
• Experience working with DTSC, RWQCB, and local regulatory programs
• Proven ability to manage projects and guide junior staff
• Entrepreneurial mindset - someone who takes ownership and runs with it
• CA PG or PE (or on track to get it) is a big plus
• 40-hour HAZWOPER required
