A high-growth, employee-owned environmental consulting firm is looking to add a Project Geologist to their team in the San Francisco East Bay area.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants to lead meaningful projects, and play a key part in mentoring teams and growing client relationships.
You'll be stepping into a group that's scaling quickly, with a strong pipeline of complex site assessment and remediation work across California.
- Leading Phase I ESA efforts and supporting a wide range of Phase II investigations
- Managing subsurface investigations including soil, soil gas, groundwater, and vapor intrusion
- Driving remediation strategies through site closure
- Overseeing project execution from scoping through completion
- Mentoring junior staff and helping level up the team
- Supporting business development and client relationship growth
- 3 years of environmental consulting experience with increasing responsibility
- Strong background in Phase I/II ESAs and remediation
- Experience working with DTSC, RWQCB, and local regulatory programs
- Proven ability to manage projects and guide junior staff
- Entrepreneurial mindset - someone who takes ownership and runs with it
- CA PG or PE (or on track to get it) is a big plus
- 40-hour HAZWOPER required

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
