Senior Mechanical Engineer (Healthcare)

This is a fully remote position open exclusively to Florida‑based candidates.

- Lead mechanical design for healthcare facilities including hospitals, medical office buildings, outpatient centers, and specialty clinics
- Design HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems in compliance with healthcare codes and standards
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and external project stakeholders
- Review drawings, calculations, and specifications for quality and constructability
- Participate in project planning and client coordination throughout all design phases
- 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering within an MEP consulting firm
- Extensive healthcare project experience required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or actively pursuing)
- Strong knowledge of Florida Building Code and healthcare regulations
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams
