Job Overview
The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for guiding projects from preliminary design through construction completion. This role requires close collaboration with internal project teams-including Project Architects, Interior Designers, Architects-in-Training, and BIM Technicians-as well as external stakeholders such as owners, contractors, consultants, code officials, and municipal agencies.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7 years of related professional experience
- Architecture license preferred
The Architectural Project Manager will:
- Collaborate with team members to develop design concepts that align with client objectives.
- Prepare and manage 3D models using Revit throughout the design process to support visualization and presentations.
- Lead teams in the preparation of construction documents and ensure projects progress according to established schedules.
- Provide quality control to confirm compliance with building codes and alignment with internal standards.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules.
- Assist in resolving complex technical and design challenges.
- Coordinate with consultants to deliver complete and accurate construction documentation.
- Ensure document accuracy, organization, and effective time management.
- Support all tasks necessary to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Work with state and local agencies, contractors, and inspectors throughout the permitting and construction process.
- Mentor and support the professional development of junior staff.
You will bring:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revit, and Bluebeam
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, SpecLink, and Photoshop (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience preparing complete sets of construction documents
- Knowledge of project specifications
- Familiarity with building codes and agency review processes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
