SUMMARY
The Project Executive provides overall leadership for multiple construction initiatives, overseeing projects from early planning through final delivery. This position acts as the senior point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are aligned with contractual obligations, schedules, and financial targets while maintaining strong working relationships across all stakeholders.
- Direct all stages of the construction lifecycle, including preconstruction planning, design coordination, estimating, procurement, engineering oversight, construction execution, and closeout activities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the overall project schedule, ensuring critical milestones are met and accounting for owner decisions, design deliverables, long‑lead materials, subcontractor commitments, fabrication timelines, and field installation.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with clients, internal project teams, consultants, and subcontracted partners to promote collaboration and successful outcomes.
- Deliver projects in full compliance with contract requirements while meeting or exceeding financial performance goals.
- Uphold and enforce company quality standards across all aspects of project execution.
- Lead, organize, mentor, and develop both field and office project staff to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with all insurance requirements, safety standards, labor regulations, and Equal Employment Opportunity policies.
- Oversee the preparation, submission, and tracking of owner payment applications, ensuring accurate billing, timely collection, and proper distribution of project funds.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on schedule status, financial performance, cash flow, and client satisfaction.
- Actively support and promote the organization's safety culture and policies as outlined in the Safety Manual.
- Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by senior operational leadership.
- Lead projects operating under both Design‑Build and traditional General Contracting delivery methods.
- Partner with business development teams by shepherding project opportunities from initial lead through contract award and successful execution.
- Maintain overall accountability for preconstruction, design management, and construction operations across assigned projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 15 years of experience delivering Design‑Build construction projects.
- Significant hands‑on building and interior construction experience may be considered in lieu of formal engineering or architectural training.
- Demonstrated expertise in both preconstruction services and field construction across diverse building types.
- Deep understanding of construction cost control, scheduling, estimating, and engineering fundamentals.
- Thorough knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and delivery approaches.
- Proven leadership ability with strong communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
