Project Executive - Data Centers

We are currently representing a leading, nationally recognised design‑build organisation seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead major data center construction programmes across the United States.

Our client operates as a fully integrated delivery partner, bringing architecture, engineering, construction, automation, specialty equipment, and real estate capabilities together under one platform. This model enables highly coordinated project execution, reduced risk, and accelerated delivery timelines-particularly critical within the fast‑growing mission critical and data center sector.

The opportunity

This role sits at a senior leadership level, responsible for overseeing multiple large‑scale, technically complex data center projects from preconstruction through delivery. You will play a key role in client engagement, operational leadership, and strategic project execution within a high‑growth market segment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight across multiple data center projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, budget, and quality expectations
• Lead and develop project teams, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative environment
• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining and strengthening long‑term relationships
• Oversee preconstruction strategy, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
• Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, and financial performance
• Partner closely with internal design, engineering, and construction teams to deliver fully integrated solutions
• Contribute to business development efforts and support future project pipeline growth

Candidate profile

• Proven experience in a Project Executive or Senior Project Director capacity within construction
• Strong background delivering data centers, mission critical, or highly technical industrial projects
• Experience managing large, multi‑project programmes with significant revenue responsibility
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams within a design‑build or EPC environment
• Strong client‑facing skills and track record of repeat business development
• Commercially astute with deep understanding of construction operations and delivery risk
