The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable managing crews in dynamic environments, coordinating with project leadership, and ensuring safe, high‑quality field execution. Travel throughout Florida is required, with lodging and per diem provided when working outside your home area.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field operations for heavy civil projects, with a focus on bridge, marine, or piling scopes.
- Oversee subcontractors, equipment, scheduling, and day‑to‑day jobsite coordination.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, design requirements, and quality expectations.
- Interface with project management, engineering, inspectors, and owners' representatives.
- Drive productivity and maintain project timelines.
- Support planning, sequencing, and problem‑solving for complex field conditions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction.
- Direct experience with bridge construction, marine work, or piling/deep foundations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; able to guide crews and maintain discipline on site.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the state of Florida as project needs dictate.
- Proven track record of delivering safe, efficient, high‑quality field operations.
- Valid driver's license; TWIC or similar credentials a plus.
