Overview

The firm is currently seeking a Project Architect to join its Healthcare practice. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality design and technical solutions. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to take on increasing responsibility to expand their expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and integrate architectural and consultant construction documents, including redlining, detailing, quality control reviews, and consultant communication
  • Develop creative design solutions that align with project requirements and constraints
  • Translate design concepts into visual representations and detailed documentation
  • Produce and refine construction documents and technical detailing solutions
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules
  • Present technical solutions effectively to clients and stakeholders
  • Support team leadership by mentoring junior staff and leveraging team strengths
  • Proactively resolve conflicts between design intent, technical requirements, and project goals in collaboration with project leadership
  • Apply industry standards, codes, and best practices throughout the design and construction process
  • Demonstrate knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and project timelines
  • Stay current with evolving methodologies, technologies, materials, and regulations
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project discussions
  • Contribute to maintaining and strengthening client relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or professional degree in Architecture (accredited program or equivalent required)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial architecture, with demonstrated healthcare project experience
  • Professional licensure or progress toward licensure preferred
  • Strong commitment to quality assurance and quality control processes
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction documentation and assembly of drawing sets
  • Solid knowledge of building construction, detailing, and constructability considerations
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a diverse project team
  • Experience in client management, presentations, and business development support
  • Strengths in conceptual design, master planning, and technical execution
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Revit strongly preferred; experience with additional 3D tools is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate deliverables effectively
  • Experience with all phases of design documentation, construction administration, and consultant coordination
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-office position requiring attendance at the assigned office location during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Consistent, reliable on-site presence is essential to the role.

Salary : $90,000 - $140,000
