This position offers the chance to work on everything from commercial and institutional facilities to municipal, industrial, and critical infrastructure projects, while gaining exposure to clients, project leadership, and technical innovation.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will:
- Lead and contribute to the design of electrical building systems, including:
- Power distribution
- Lighting systems
- Fire alarm systems
- Develop construction documents, technical specifications, and permit packages.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Interface directly with clients, providing technical expertise, design guidance, and project support.
- Conduct site evaluations, engineering assessments, and technical studies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
- Participate in power system analyses, coordination studies, and arc flash evaluations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
- 4 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting, and life safety systems.
- Experience performing:
- Arc Flash Studies
- Protective Device Coordination Studies
- Short Circuit Analysis
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as:
- Revit
- AutoCAD
- SKM PowerTools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and project teams.
