This is an opportunity to influence major commercial and industrial projects from concept through close‑out, partnering directly with senior decision‑makers, design teams, and top‑tier general contractors.
What You'll Do
As the Electrical Preconstruction Manager, you will play a key role in shaping project pursuits and guiding early design decisions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Business Development on proposals, interviews, and client-facing presentations
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with General Contractors, Architects, and Engineering firms
- Preparing conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction document estimates
- Leading value engineering, constructability reviews, and scheduling input during preconstruction
- Identifying new project opportunities and monitoring market cost trends
- Reviewing and analyzing subcontractor proposals for accuracy and completeness
- Supporting the development of project teams by aligning staffing needs with operations
- Participating in the development of project schedules used for estimating purposes
What You Bring
- 4 years of estimating experience in a Preconstruction Manager role
- Background in large commercial and industrial electrical projects
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with Accubid and/or Conest
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated employment stability and professional reliability
