Our client is looking for a highly skilled Controls Technician to join their team and play a key role in installing, programming, and servicing advanced digital control systems. This position requires a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering quality, efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and verify Building Automation System (BAS) projects to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, and implement modifications as needed to optimize system performance.
- Diagnose issues, determine necessary parts for repairs, complete work orders accurately, and review results with customers.
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to reporting procedures for all service activities.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and team leads to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, maintain attention to detail, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on BAS controls experience.
- Expertise in Tridium N4/AX programming and familiarity with Distech Controls.
- Proficiency in at least one Direct Digital Control (DDC) platform.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and BAS integration principles.
