Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager in daily operations, including resident relations, reporting, property maintenance, property appearance & condition, collections, and general leasing activities.
- Discover the needs of current and prospective residents and work with them to overcome challenges.
- Assist with processing invoices, lease applications, move-in and move-out information, renewal letters, and any other administrative work related to resident relations.
- Work with maintenance team to ensure that maintenance requests are handled on an immediate basis and that any delays are properly communicated.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal team, customers, residents, and service providers.
- Manage rent collections, renewals, and apartment turnovers.
- Ensure professional product preparation, including unit interiors and community common areas, by inspecting daily and offering guidance about improvement opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of market conditions and trends.
- Provide effective assistance in all other matters as directed by the Property Manager
- Leasing and/or Property Management experience required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Rules and Regulations.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with residents, owners, and vendors.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong work ethic.
