Core Responsibilities
Integrated Site Design: Execute the design and development of complex residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects from initial concept through final construction documents.
Technical Modeling: Utilize Civil 3D to develop high-fidelity engineering plans, grading models, and utility profiles that meet rigorous industry standards.
Infrastructure Analysis: Perform critical engineering calculations for drainage systems, water/wastewater utilities, and site grading to ensure optimal functionality and regulatory compliance.
Field Synergy: Conduct site assessments and field data collection to ground digital designs in real-world conditions.
Project Stewardship: Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget, maintaining the firm’s reputation for reliability.
Regulatory Liaison: Navigate local, state, and federal regulations, communicating effectively with regulatory agencies and contractors to move projects toward successful completion.
Continuous Innovation: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and software advancements to maintain the firm’s competitive edge in design efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Certification: Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience within a civil engineering environment.
Software Proficiency: Strong command of AutoCAD and Civil 3D for site design.
Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
Sector Expertise: Previous experience specifically focused on Texas-based land development projects.
Analytical Skills: Advanced problem-solving abilities regarding complex hydrological or topographical challenges.
