Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Lead to help support the daily care and presentation of our luxury vacation homes in Glacier, Washington, particularly covering leadership responsibilities with our existing Housekeeping Lead designed for shared leadership & seamless coverage.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on training, quality control, and operational consistency. You'll play a key role in ensuring homes are impeccably prepared for guest arrivals, teams are well-supported, and systems around linens and supplies run smoothly in a remote mountain environment.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in elevated standards and enjoys helping a team perform at their best.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership coverage during Housekeeping Lead days off
- Train, onboard, and mentor new and seasonal housekeeping staff
- Conduct detailed pre-arrival inspections to ensure luxury-level presentation
- Support and oversee laundry operations, including linen care, staging, and rotation
- Manage organization, stocking, and inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
- Ensure adherence to established checklists, standards, and brand expectations
- Step into cleans or turnovers as needed to support team success
- Communicate property issues clearly with operations and maintenance teams
- Help maintain a calm, respectful, and accountable team culture
What We're Looking For
- Experience in luxury hospitality, vacation rentals, or high-end residential housekeeping
- Prior lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong eye for detail and a high standard for presentation and cleanliness
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable making decisions independently
- Confident trainer who can guide staff with clarity and patience
- Able to balance leadership, inspections, and hands-on work
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
