Job Overview:
As a Receptionist at Luxury Garden Center, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, creating a welcoming and professional environment. Your role is to ensure that every customer receives a memorable experience, whether they are calling, visiting, or inquiring about our products and services. You will manage front desk operations efficiently, assist in administrative tasks, and provide support to both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with information about our products and services.
- Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Assist customers with inquiries, including product availability, store hours, promotions, and services.
- Ensure customers are made to feel valued and appreciated throughout their visit.
- Administrative Support
- Manage the front desk area, keeping it clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Handle appointment scheduling for consultations or services.
- Assist with processing customer orders, billing, and payments as needed.
- Maintain office supplies and ensure that necessary materials are stocked.
- Communication and Coordination
- Relay messages to staff and ensure timely follow-up on customer requests.
- Coordinate with other departments for special orders or service-related inquiries.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and direct them to management when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining social media accounts and online inquiries as needed.
- Support Sales and Marketing
- Help promote in-store events, sales, and specials to customers.
- Distribute promotional materials or catalogs to customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist and/or customer service, is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in office software.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries with patience and empathy.
- Interest or background in gardening, plants, or landscape design is a plus.
