What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Luxor Staffing?
Luxor Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates paying $19.00 per hour with 1st shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
Job duties:
- Scan and verify incoming and outgoing products using warehouse scanning equipment.
- Safely handle and move appliances, electronics, computers, outdoor living products, and audio/video equipment.
- Perform cornering and product protection to prepare merchandise for safe transportation.
- Shrink-wrap and secure pallets for storage and shipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with daily shipping and receiving operations.
- Inspect products for visible damage and report discrepancies or damaged merchandise.
- Move products throughout the distribution center using appropriate equipment and safe handling procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, distribution center, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Sit-Down and Clamp Forklift Operator experience is a plus!
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull products as required.
- Ability to work on your feet and remain active throughout the workday.
- Comfortable handling large, bulky, and sometimes heavy merchandise.
