Summary:

Essential Job Functions:
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure system and documentation compliance with customer, regulatory, and standards requirements
- Assist in internal and external audits, including customer and third-party audits
- Participate in preparation, review, and approval of quality documentation
- Create and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions
- Work with suppliers to ensure product quality and compliance with requirements
- Coordinate non-conformance from supplier parts or processes
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to monitor trends and identify improvement opportunities
- Prepare quality reports and metrics (ex. First Article Inspection Reports) for internal and customer use
- Interface with customers regarding product quality issues
- Coordinate with production to address quality concerns
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related field preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace industries
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or other quality management systems
- Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, PPAP, SPC, CAPA)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab) is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Able to work with chemicals and fibers
- Able to lift to 25 lbs
