Role Description
Lux Research is seeking a highly organized and proactive Innovator Pipeline Administrator to manage our interview pipeline and support the execution of our flagship Ideathon virtual events. This role is critical to the success of Lux’s innovation programs, ensuring smooth coordination among innovators, analysts, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail and operational excellence to oversee the administrative processes that keep our innovation engine running efficiently.

Role Description
Lux Research is seeking a highly organized and proactive Innovator Pipeline Administrator to manage our interview pipeline and support the execution of our flagship Ideathon virtual events. This role is critical to the success of Lux’s innovation programs, ensuring smooth coordination among innovators, analysts, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail and operational excellence to oversee the administrative processes that keep our innovation engine running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track the startup and innovator pipeline, ensuring 20 analyst interviews per month.
- Collaborate with analysts to define innovation focus areas and build targeted outreach lists.
- Lead outreach to startups, researchers, and corporate innovators via email, LinkedIn, and professional networks.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for cross-time-zone meetings, serving as the main liaison between innovators and analysts.
- Maintain smooth operations through timely follow-ups, deadline tracking, and clear communication.
- Support seamless execution of Lux Ideathons, including planning, logistics, and live virtual event coordination.
- Handle communication and logistics with event participants, speakers, and partners before, during, and after events.
- Provide ongoing administrative and operational support to strengthen analyst and innovator engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of administrative experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, with comfort coordinating across global cultures and time zones via video, email, and phone.
- Highly detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive in ensuring follow-through on tasks and deadlines.
- Experience working in a corporate environment.
- Experience coordinating events (virtual or in-person) or supporting large-scale team initiatives.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Familiarity with startup ecosystems, venture capital, or technology scouting.
