What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media & Content Intern position at LuvMyJewelry (LMJ)?
Company Description
LuvMyJewelry is a family-owned fine jewelry brand with a passion for craftsmanship and timeless design. We're looking for a creative, trend-savvy content intern to help bring our brand to life across social media and beyond. Please note this is an unpaid summer internship, ideal for students seeking academic credit.
We're looking to bring an intern onboard by June 22nd. Internship would last till August 31st., with the option to continue during the academic school year.
What You'll Do
Conent Creation & Filming
- Shoot and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, as well as longer-form YouTube content
- Style and pair jewelry for shoots, think flatlays, on-body content, and lifestyle-driven visuals
- Capture behind-the-scenes moments that give our audience a peek into the brand
- Create content for paid ads and promotional campaigns
- Design eye-catching thumbnails and static posts using Canva and other tools
Strategy & Ideation
- Brainstorm and execute fresh content ideas across formats- video, newsletters, and educational/knowledge-based posts
- Research trending sounds, formats, and hashtags relevant to jewelry and fashion
- Monitor competitor and industry activity to keep our content sharp and differentiated
Influencer & Community
- Identify and reach out to influencers and creators for potential collaborations
- Manage communications and coordination with influencer partners throughout the campaign process
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable behind and in front of the camera
- Proficiency in video and photo editing tools: Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or Final Cut Pro
- A strong eye for aesthetics- especially in fashion, jewelry, or lifestyle content
- Self-starter who can take a brief and run with it
- Organized enough to juggle multiple content projects at once
