MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns, conduct basic tax research, and collaborate with senior team members to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Prepare and review complex returns, supervise and mentor staff, provide technical guidance, and manage client relationships with minimal supervision
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and s-Corporation income tax returns among other types of returns
- Assist in tax planning and research, respond to tax notices, complete elections, and assist with tax accruals and depreciation reporting
- Analyze financial data and supporting documentation for tax compliance
- Develop client relationships, participate in management meetings, and take on increasing responsibilities in mentoring and technical guidance
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-4 Years of experience in accounting or tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Has a CPA license or is working toward obtaining a CPA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
