What You'll Do
- Run bi-weekly payroll for 1000 employees
- Keep payroll records up-to-date accurate
- Review timesheets & payroll data for accuracy
- Collaborate with HR to support employee changes and payroll questions
- Handle employee pay/tax inquiries with professionalism and clarity
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries
- Reconcile payroll-related GL accounts
- Assist with month-end year-end close
- Support financial reporting & ad-hoc analysis
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or solid equivalent experience
- 2 years of hands-on payroll experience
- Strong Excel skills (formulas pivots are your friend)
- Experience with online payroll systems (Paycom, UKG, Kronos, ADP, etc.)
- Bonus: You’re systems-savvy and curious about how accounting systems work behind the scenes
