Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team in our toddler room. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children while providing attentive care and support. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with both children and their families, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide nurturing care, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene.
- Maintain a clean and organized space for children to play and learn.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through play and structured activities.
- Observe children's behavior and development, documenting milestones as needed.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure consistency in care and education.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, classroom, or nannying is highly preferred.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to manage multiple children at once.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt activities to meet children's individual needs.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
