Responsibilities
- Drive evolutionary and transformational change in the organization by establishing strategic IT architecture, working with the business and other Enterprise Architects (product, data, etc.) across the company.
- Evolve and expand the IT system architecture to support short term and long-term business needs as the company continues to scale.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies to drive business value increase, cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.
- Collaborate with other Enterprise Architects to establish and govern technical standards, guidelines, and architectural principles across the organization, ensuring adherence through robust governance frameworks and cross-functional collaboration for consistent software development practices.
- Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including onboarding of new applications and analysis of cost reduction opportunities.
- Assure a high standard of quality in your own work and in the work of others on your team. Mentor and coach colleagues to expand the effectiveness of those around you.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices by identifying and mitigating risks/vulnerabilities in software architectures, while collaborating with security and compliance teams to maintain secure development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years’ experience with enterprise, data, or system architecture
- Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering and analysis.
- Solid grounding in core enterprise applications, including ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), Service tools.
- Proven understanding of information processing and software evaluation principles and practices
- Solid grasp of the latest cloud technologies, including expertise in managing multi-cloud environments with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - proficiency in leveraging cloud-native services to drive operational efficiency and scalability
- Deep understanding of modern architectural frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects using Agile and DevOps practices to enhance the continuous delivery and deployment pipeline
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
