We’re seeking an experienced Dining Room Manager to lead daily dining operations, oversee a large service team, and deliver an outstanding dining experience for approximately 400 residents and their guests.
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-7:00 PM (occasional weekends as needed)

- 2 years of leadership experience managing large hospitality or dining teams (50 employees preferred)
- Experience leading formal dining or fine dining service operations
- Hands-on experience planning and executing catered events or banquet functions
- Strong experience hiring, coaching, scheduling, and developing service staff
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and ServSafe standards
As Dining Room Manager, you’ll oversee multiple dining venues while leading a team of approximately 50-60 dining associates, servers, and bartenders, directly supervising 15-20 team members during each shift.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead daily dining room operations while maintaining exceptional resident satisfaction
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop dining room staff
- Create staff schedules and ensure proper shift coverage
- Maintain high standards for service, presentation, professionalism, and hospitality
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee performance
- Coordinate catered events from planning through execution
- Meet with clients to plan menus, timelines, staffing, and event logistics
- Partner with the Executive Chef on resident events and catering menus
- Lead weekly catering meetings with interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, ServSafe, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor documentation including temperature logs and food safety records
- Address resident and guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Support other dining and culinary operations as needed

What You'll Need as a Dining Room Manager:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of management experience in fine dining, hospitality, country club, hotel, banquet, or senior living dining operations
- Experience managing large service teams
- Catering or event management experience
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience in senior living or healthcare dining services
