- Manage and coordinate general office responsibilities.
- Using independent judgement, establish workflow processes for file and database
- management.
- Responsible for project management; planning, organizing, communicating, and delegating tasks.
- Interpret and make decisions regarding administrative functions and staff.
- Ensure new employee orientation is conducted for new hires and ensure all new hire
- paperwork is complete, correct, and submitted to Human Resources in a timely manner.
- Complete administrative tasks and clerical duties, including but not limited to filing, faxing, copying, data entry, and answering phones.
- Maintain confidential information and files.
- Complete all documentation, reports, and other data as required by management and funding sources.
- Provide direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for assigned staff.
- Collaborate with other management staff in programs and network on programmatic, fiscal, organizational, and community issues.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years of college or equivalent preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
- CANTS background check clearance if required by program.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of office management experience or related work required.
- Knowledge of office organization and management required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), along with other designated
- software.
- Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility, as well as the ability to effectively manage
- changing priorities.
- Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences present in both the service population and staff.
- Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency, may be required.
- Access to reliable transportation may be required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage may be required.
