LSSI is hiring a full-time Cook at the Joshua Arms location, Monday through Friday. Responsible for preparing, serving, and supervising meal services as assigned.

- Following menu plans, prepare a variety of high-quality food in specified quantities using standardized recipes.
- Keep assigned work area clean and follow all sanitation guidelines.
- Perform all duties following safety guidelines and requirements in accordance with regulatory, licensing, accreditation, and agency standards.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the cooler, freezer, and overall kitchen areas.
- Maintain inventory of food, equipment and supplies in the kitchen area.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
- Food Sanitation Certificate, or ability to obtain, required.
- Experience in commercial or institutional cooking required.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions/directions and to work with minimal supervision required.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment and appliances in a safe manner required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
