- Manage and administer LSSl's compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain compensation structures, including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and other forms of compensation.
- Implement new and revised compensation programs, pay ranges, policies, and procedures to align with LSSl's goals and competitive practices.
- Conduct review of requests for compensation changes due to promotion, transfer, job change, change in responsibilities, etc. using market data and internal evaluation to ensure competitive pay rates and work with HR Business Partners and VP of HR to provide final approvals.
- Conduct review of requests for new job titles, including analyzing job duties and responsibilities, job grades and classifications.
- Participate and complete salary surveys, monitoring survey data results and completing related analysis to ensure that LSSI complies with its Compensation Philosophy with its position in the market.
- Set up, monitor, and maintain compensation/salary changes in Dayforce.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in all areas of compensation required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of compensation management required.
- Prior experience in other areas within Human Resources required.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
- SHRM certification (SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and management skills required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for compensation (e.g., FLSA).
- Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS (preferably Ceridian Dayforce HCM) preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to analyze information and make accurate decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Background check clearance required.
- Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
