Part Time
Shifts: 7:30am - 2:30pm, 11:30am - 7:30pm, 4:40pm - 7:30pm
Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio is currently seeking a Server for Kensington Place in Columbus, Ohio. Kensington Place offers beautiful, comfortable and secure Senior Living options including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care.

REQUIREMENTS for a Server with Lutheran Social Services:
- High school diploma or GED in progress (we do hire students)!
RESPONSIBILITIES for a Server with Lutheran Social Services:
- Takes orders from residents and guests, promptly places order to kitchen staff and serves prepared food and drinks to residents and guests in a timely manner taking into account any special needs or requests. Follows up with customers to ensure meal is to their satisfactions. Provides any additional requested items as necessary. Responds to any customer questions, complaints or other issues in a prompt and courteous manner ensuring a positive outcome for the guest.
- Prepares tables for customers including setting tables for serving properly with china, silverware, glassware, sugar, salt/pepper, flowers and clean table clothes. Buses tables upon completion of meals including taking dishes to dish room, removing food items and operating dish machine as necessary.
- Set -up and prepares salads and desserts from appropriate kitchen station. Cleans as appropriate at end of shift.
- Maintains cleanliness of dining room including keeping service area neat, clean and organized at all times, running sweeper, dusting furniture, and washing windows.
- Performs all opening and closing side work assignments as required.
- Greets and seats residents with daily menus when Hostess is not at the podium.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
