ReadyCNA Training Program Lutheran Home

Lutheran Home is excited to offer CNA training classes for 2026! The ReadyCNA training course at Lutheran Home will consist of online trainings and an in-person clinical. Participants will complete 3-weeks of self-guided studies online starting with an in-person introduction to the course followed by a full week of in-person clinical experience! 

2026 Class Dates

• January 5; in-person clinical January 26 - January 30
• February 2; in-person clinical February 23 - February 27
• April 20; in-person clinical May 11 - May 15
• June 1; in-person clinical June 22 - June 26 
• July 6; in-person clinical July 27 - July 31
• August 3; in-person clinical August 24 - August 28
• August 31; in-person clinical September 21 - September 25
• October 5; in-person clinical October 26 - October 30 

Requirements for participation:

• Participants will need the ability to complete the course work online over the first 3 weeks of the class.
• Be able to commit to participating in-person for a full week. Monday - Wednesday class is held from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Thursday - Friday class is held from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. 
• Attend Day 1 in-person orientation day.
• Cover up-front cost for the class of $475 due two weeks prior to the start of class (reimbursement details below!)
• Cover up-front cost for the state CNA test after completion of class (reimbursement details below!)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or the equivalent.

Reimbursement for both the class and test cost will be provided to participants who complete the course, pass the test and are hired on at the Lutheran Home and Harwood Place. Reimbursement will be paid following successful completion of 90-days of employment. 

Lutheran Home is also offering retention bonuses to hired participants that commit to full-time or part-time schedules! Participants that are hired and commit to a full-time schedule (30 hours per week) will receive $500 bonuses after completion of 6 months and 1-year of employment! Part-time (18.75 hours per week) will be eligible for bonuses of $250! Employees must not drop hours after starting to remain eligible for retention bonuses.

CNA Shifts:

• AM Shift: 6:15 AM - 2:15 PM
• PM Shift: 2:15 PM - 10:15 PM
• NOC Shift: 10:15 PM - 6:15 AM
