The Warehouse and Delivery Assistant directly supports this mission by ensuring the effective receipt, organization, and distribution of donated goods and supplies that serve individuals and families across the region. By maintaining organized inventory systems, supporting volunteer efforts, and ensuring the timely and safe delivery of essential items, this position advances equitable access to resources that promote dignity, stability, and hope.

One year of related experience in warehouse operations, inventory coordination, or delivery logistics.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrates resilience, awareness, and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict, and obstacles.
Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment and interacts effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends, as needed to meet operational needs.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Regularly lifts, carries, pushes, or pulls objects up to 50 pounds.
Engages in frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday.
Works in a moderately noisy environment, both indoors and outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
Drives for extended periods between worksites and distribution points.
Travels between sites using an agency or personal vehicle; must maintain a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and motor vehicle record clearance.
Works in a variety of settings, including LCSNW office locations, partner agencies, community-based environments, outdoor areas, and faith-based settings.
Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and any other clearances required by state or program regulations.

- Support the receipt, organization, and distribution of donated goods, supplies, and materials across agency sites and community partners.
- Load, unload, and transport items safely between collection, warehouse, and distribution locations, following approved delivery schedules.
- Maintain organized, secure, and clean storage and vehicle areas to ensure the safety and protection of goods.
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to coordinate packaging, assembly, and delivery of goods for agency and community events.
- Participate in donation drives, distribution events, and outreach activities that enhance community engagement and access to resources.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure coordination and timely delivery of materials.
- Follow all LCSNW and safety policies and promptly report incidents, vehicle concerns, or safety hazards.
