$40/hour | Part-Time | Southern Arizona
We’re looking for a reliable audio technician to support our weekend church services. This is a steady, part-time role for someone who’s comfortable running live sound and takes pride in doing it well week after week.
The environment is consistent and not overly complex, but it does require focus, good judgment, and the ability to make adjustments in real time.
Schedule
- Saturdays: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Sundays: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM
- ~5.5 hours per weekend
- ~10 additional services per year (holidays, etc.), paid at the same rate
Responsibilities
- Run live audio using an iPad-based mixing system
- Lead soundchecks for vocals, instruments, and speakers
- Monitor and adjust levels throughout the service
- Handle feedback and troubleshoot minor issues
- Ensure all inputs are working properly
- Light setup and teardown
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with live audio (church, events, bands, etc.)
- Comfortable making real-time adjustments
- Familiarity with digital mixers or willingness to learn quickly
- Consistent, punctual, and attentive
- Someone who communicates clearly and works well with others
