Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or memory care, ensuring comfort and safety
- Document patient information thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks
- Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers for patients requiring mobility assistance
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.
- Must be able to communicate well with residents, family, and other staff.
- Provide residents with high-quality personal care and services while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
- Document services are performed on computerized charting systems.
- Working with older adults and those with special needs while maintaining good customer service, patience, and compassion.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and requires moderate to heavy lifting, bending, and pushing.
- Ability to read and follow directions.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and prioritize.
- Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
- Must be able to complete and pass a background check (e-mail required).
Shifts
- Days (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)- Both full-time and part-time openings
- Evening (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) – Both full-time and part-time openings
- Nights (10:00 pm – 6:30 am) - Both full-time and part-time openings
Includes every other weekend and a rotation for holidays.
